Annual International Competition & Exhibition

The NHV Hat Contest is gaining more and more interest at home and abroad and has built up a good reputation in a very short time. At first only Belgian members participated from abroad, however in recent years we were also able to welcome German, English, Australian, Norwegian, French, North American and Canadian participants.

Everyone can register for the NHV hat competition, from renowned hat designers to driven one-time hobbyists. The subject always leaves plenty of room for the imagination of the creator. This is clearly visible in the great diversity and high quality of the entries.

Up to 50 hats can eventually participate in the opening hat show and the three-week exhibition that will accompany this competition. An annual changing jury determines the selection from the entries on the basis of originality, quality and hat craftsmanship, from which the winning design is then chosen. The audience can vote for her own favourite hat.
